Sawasdee Krab! My name is Chalermchon Intue and I was born on 12 August 1975 in Chiang Mai. I come from a big, warm family which includes my parents, younger brother and now my wife. We have no children yet.
"I love nature and trees, which is why I studied horticulture when I was in the high school. Then I studied in Landscaping at Rajchamankala University and I got a bachelor's degree in Architecture and Environmental Design from Majoe University. But since I graduated in the economic crisis period, I tried to find a job in Bangkok. I worked there for 10 years, and I got quite a lot of experience in landscape design. But I also wanted to explore many other things by myself as well.
"I decided to I quit my job and return to Chiang Mai, I started to design clothing items made from natural fabrics, such as hemp or cotton. After six months I realized I wasn't enjoy this, so I opted for designing and crafting home decor items in wood.
"I am a fan of the Lanna way of life, I love artworks that are made from local materials. I adapt my designs with antique techniques to achieve a contemporary style that will suit today's way of life.
"Returning to Chiang Mai was one of the best things I have done, because I now have my own workshop where I am doing what I love to do. Most importantly, I have the freedom to design my home décor items and present them to many people. My life style is unlimited. I am constantly changing and developing. I like traveling and keeping up with fashion trends that I can adapt with traditional styles.
"I enjoy doing this very much, and I am always developing new designs at least a few times per year. I wish my designs will be able to fit modern trends worldwide. I hope that people will like my work, thanks to Novica for the opportunity to display my work to the world."
